Weekend Results - 30th & 31st May
All three senior teams won their league matches at the weekend, with Craig and Howie both hitting centuries as Forfarshire defeated Drumpellier by 203 runs. Up in Huntly, a good team performance from Forthill resulted in an 11 runs victory and on Sunday, Forthill XI passed Dalnacraig's 135-8 with ease to complete a winning weekend.

Asked to bat first, Craig (136) and Howie (135) made light work of the visitors bowling and with the score at 58 after just 8 overs, a big total always looked a possibility. They went on to share an opening partnership worth 232 in 37 overs before Craig was out, his 136 containing seventeen 4s and five 6s. Howie was then joined by Dougie who after a few balls to get his eye in, hit a quickfire 50 from just 30 balls to propel Forfarshire's total past 300. Howie's 135 included eighteen 4s and a six as Forfarshire finished on 364 for 5 in 50 overs, the third highest team total in SNCL history. Robert hung on to a sharp chance at slip from the first ball of Drumpellier's innings and from then on, only the visitors captain McLaren offered much resistance to the Forfs attack, Henry again bowling a fine spell, taking 4 for 46 in 10 overs and Kelby finishing with 3 for 34. match report photo gallery video
